To further enhance our services, we are thrilled to introduce two new certified speech-language pathologists to our dedicated team. Their diverse backgrounds and passion for helping children will undoubtedly enrich our practice and provide even more personalized care.

Sorrah Edwards-Thro, Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Sorrah Edwards-Thro

We are excited to welcome Sorrah Edwards-Thro (he/they) to the Nobles Speech Therapy family as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). Sorrah discovered his passion for speech therapy in 2022 after earning a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics from the College of William & Mary. His journey into the world of speech therapy began with his work as a grants manager for mother-tongue education advocacy projects in Haiti. This experience, combined with roles as a tutor, caregiver, paraeducator, and SLPA, has given Sorrah a profound appreciation for making a direct impact on children and their families.

Sorrah's commitment to his professional development is evident as he continues his studies towards a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Outside of his work and studies, Sorrah enjoys reading, watching TV, biking, and volunteering in his community. His diverse interests and dedication to community service make him a valuable addition to our team.

Jasmine Rene, M.S. CCC-SLP

We are equally delighted to introduce Jasmine Rene, M.S. CCC-SLP, to our team as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Jasmine earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Howard University and brings four years of experience to her role. She is passionate about engaging with children and fostering their learning and communication skills through play-based therapy.

Jasmine's approach to therapy is both effective and enjoyable, creating a positive environment for children to thrive. In her personal time, Jasmine enjoys relaxing at home, staying active with exercise, and spending quality time with friends. Her balanced approach to life and work will greatly benefit the children and families she serves.
